Our space works as a platform for Bartenders, Caterers, Event organisers or Companies to get the kick start they need to showcase the best of what they offer without buying or setting up a new location. Our service includes everything from helping with the venue, licence, lighting, music, set up, budgeting & staffing. You can use as little or as much help as you like from our expert team. Drink Slingers

Had an idea for a pop up? Want to give it a go at running your own bar for the night/nights?

We can help you in the following ways:
Full venue hire for your showcase, A Duty Manager for our license, Order the stock from any of our suppliers (excludes product used to create syrups specialty products & obscure garnish) Stock Glassware, Food list, Ice, House spirits, House wine, House Beer, Pals (all contribute to your sales) a run down in the following days of the figures & the wash up of what you have made.

What will be required of you?

  1. Create a minimum of three signature drinks for sale & send them through to our email including product required.
  2. You create your own playlist for the night on Spotify.
  3. You create an event on facebook and share with KIKI.
  4. You get everything signed off including pricing within five days of your event by the KIKI Management team through our email address.

Rules:

  1. You operate within the correct trading hours 5pm till midnight minimum, max 3am.
  2. You can only hire the venue mid week currently
  3. You can hire the venue a maximum of 4 days. (if your event is successful, you can re apply for a second showcase further down the track)
  4. You or any co workers work for yourselves and pay yourself.
  5. Your event must be OK’d by your current employer
  6. You adhere to the liquor laws.
  7. No drinking on site from whoever is bartending
  8. You must pay a deposit of $200 up to two weeks in advance, you will get this paid back with any profit after all rules have been followed and the event went ahead as planned.

Costs & Profit:

The first $500 in turnover will go toward the cost of site rental/ Management fees.

After that the remainder of income will be yours minus COGS of 30% (Cost of good sold or product)

An example of this is if you turned over $2000 less GST

Event Organisers

What we offer:

  1. Private bar on Courtenay place
  2. Full team & Management on the night
  3. No hire fee however there is a minimum spend of $800.
  4. Drink creation to suit your event
  5. Play your own music
  6. Bring in your own food.
  7. Catering available.
  8. Cocktail classes available.
  9. Themed events & decoration.
  10. Event opens to the public at 11pm.

Companies that wish to showcase their brand

What we offer:

  1. Nightly rental prices of the Venue. (prices available on application).
  2. Full week rental of the Venue (prices available on application).
  3. Staffing at $25 an hour.
  4. Decoration: You can work with our team to decorate and fit out of the venue with your brand.
  5. Drinks: You can either bring in your product/ brand for sale or we offer our standard Kiki Menu.
  6. Catering is available from the Lulu Kitchen.
  7. Duty Manager to oversee license included in rental fee.
  8. All Liquor Licensing regulations must be complied with.

Rules:

  1. You operate within the correct trading hours 5pm till midnight minimum, latest close time of 3am.
  2. You can hire the venue a maximum of 7 days. (if your Collaboration is successful, you can re apply for a second showcase further down the track).
  3. We do not supply staff members except for a floating Duty Manager.
  4. You adhere to the liquor laws.
  5. No drinking on site from whoever is bartending.
  6. You must pay a deposit of $1000 up to two weeks in advance, This will come off your final bill if all laws were adhered too and your event has been in line with our policies.
